Hi Rob, I’m Stephen and after my wife & I test-drove the new Scenic last week at Arnold Clark Preston, we ordered a Flame Red Iconic that they reckon should be delivered around July. We bought our 1st EV 4 years ago - a new 2018 model Zoe (Dynamique nav r110 ze40) - which has been a terrific little runaround for us on our mainly local journeys, but, since retirement, we’ve gained 4 grandchildren and now need extra space & range, hence the Scenic. I googled your Forum & am now looking forward to reading how your contributors find this exciting new car when it finally hits the road here in the UK.

Hi Rob, I'm Barry and I have just recently ordered a Scenic E-Tech Long range Techno model as my next company car. I currently have a Mustang Mach-E so I am used to the pros & cons of having an EV. The main selling point for me was the the longer range, (my Mach-E only has a WLTP of 272 miles, of which I get 210-220 in the summer and around 180-190 in the winter) and the added benefit of the heat pump.
Not had a chance to test drive the Scenic yet, but I will when my local dealer gets a car in, which is expected in May.

Good evening everyone my name is Brian I'm 63 and I'm driving a Kuga plug in at the moment, I do like the look of the scenic but have not seen one in the flesh yet . Just booked in for a test drive when my dealer gets two cars probably around June.

Hi, my name is Alan. I am from Edinburgh. Experienced EV driver. I liked the Scenic for a number of reasons, design, space and range. Ordered a Flame Red Ionic with a potential Oct delivery date. I enjoyed the test drive..but have to get used to stalk control again after years of rotary dial controls. I look forward to the forum providing support, solutions and tips plus the general chat!

Hi Rob and everyone,

Joined this as I am debating buying a Scenic.

My one nervousness is the narrowness of the boot. If anyone has dimensions in CM for the boot (height, opening, depth at bottom and parcel shelf level, widest and narrowest points) it would be most welcome. Really want this car as the features, tech and battery are perfect - but it needs to be able to take my golf clubs, a pram, and other luggage that we carry every weekend, ideally below the parcel shelf and without dropping a seat down. Seems like a big boot, but that is driven by height rather than width / depth - which is a little less practical (at least for my use case)

Thanks in advance - its hard to get these numbers and I didnt have time on my test drive to play extensively (my fault, not the renault dealerships).

Hi,

I'm a Mégane e-tech owner who is jealously eyeing the features of the very similar Scenic, which wasn't available when I bought my car a year ago. It's only a two year PCP however so interested to hear how people get on with the Scenic over the next 12 months.

Cheers,
Neil
