Charging with ohme home pro
Sadly another failure. Been on Mégane forum and it's My25 with problems and Renault know about it. Clearly software issues but no resolution. My next option is to set charge to max and hopefully car programme will wake up and charge at cheap rate. Wish I hadn't bought this car now.

Sorry to hear this and it is so frustrating. My wife’s Megane is a MY25 and it is charging the way I have mentioned previously. Are you setting the charge programmes via the app or directly through the car?
Its so odd as it worked a few times but since the app update not at all. If I don't have a programme set on the car it won't start any charge but won't accept charge from app either. Whatever I've tried it fails. What I'm doing tonight is set car to charge 12:30 -5:30 Which is cheap rate and set charger to give max charge. Car is blue but isn't actually going to charge until the programme on car kicks in. Someone on Facebook has needed to do this. Otherwise I can only do max charge in day at full rate. I will take it to dealer and see if there is a software update. It's clearly the car at fault in this case!

So to confirm. Do you have smart charging turned off on the Ohme app? And does your app look like this when not plugged in?
Then have you set the programme in the car to charge only between the cheap rates? And when you plug in you get the blue solid light? If so I have no idea why it isn’t working. Do you have to approve the plug in? I have set this on mine so when you plug in, it goes solid blue then flashes white and the when I have accepted the charge through the Ohme app returns to solid blue.

Yep, brief blue light then flashes white and Ohme app goes from showing unplugged as in your picture to automatically switching to show scheduled charge within cheap rates. Does yours do that? Even though I get a brief blue light and leave the app to schedule charge the car doesn't wake up to charge at 12:30 even though Ohme turning on to provide it. I can't see a way to stop Ohme app scheduling a smart charge as it's following octopus cheap rate schedule except by asking for max charge. I've done that tonight to see if this works and keeps car awake. On max charge it doesn't seem to be actually charging as car programme not set until 12:30 so I hope this works. All very odd.

So I think this could work as when I plug mine or my wife’s Megane in, (yes it does show ‘scheduled charge’ in a white band across the top when plugged in) it starts to try and charge and you can see it’s trying to put a like bit of charge into the car which shows like your picture of your app. I’m thinking to not link it to octopus if that doesn’t work. I’ve had to manually input our rate for BG on the app as it doesn’t have the correct BG tariff on there. Wonder if it could be to do with that?
Well good news in that leaving charger on max charge worked. First time all week I've had an overnight charge. Seems an odd way of doing it but at least it works. I'll ask Renault to check for faults but at least in the interim I have a workaround assuming it still works again tomorrow!!

Hi Wavy, had to do the same with my wife’s Renault Megane Etech my25 version. As you done, set the car charger through the My Renault app to start charging at 12.00am to 05.00am (Programmed Charge) Then approved plug in on the Ohme app, then set to max charge, the only issue I had was the Ohme app stating that my car had unexpectedly stopped charging so had to pause the max charging and unpause through Ohme app which seemed to reset it. (Think the issue was, I left it in waiting to start charging for too long) Woke up at 12.00am and it had started to charge, went to sleep happy!
